Bryston 2B-SST Series C 240V power amplifier in immaculate condition.
The manufacturer plate on the rear of the unit has a date of May 2004, and I am the original owner. It has been looked after fastidiously, does not have any blemishes on it, and is in perfect working order. It comes with its original power cord, manual, manufacturer test specifications and the original box with all packing foam for transport. I am only selling it as I have recently upgraded to a higher spec Bryston power amp.
If you’re familiar with Bryston equipment, you’ll know they are bulletproof, and it has not had any faults in its 20 year life.
Its output is 100W per channel into 8 ohms, and it is a dual-mono amp with both single ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs. It is also able to be bridged for mono operation in a pair. Professional reviews have described the sound as “clean and dynamic, quiet and powerful”, “plenty of bass”, “an extremely quiet amplifier through which you’ll hear an especially clear sound field with no penalties at either end of the spectrum”.
