The Celestion CS7 are later-production version of the classic Ditton 44. Like the Ditton 44s they have a fairly typical British sound but are perhaps not quite as warm-sounding and have slightly better accuracy and detail.
Tweeter: 1-inch (25mm) HF-2000 Pressure Dome – was claimed to be the world's finest at the time
Midrange: 4-inch (100mm) D5 Cone
Woofer: 12-inch (300mm) FC12 Bass unit
Was serviced in 2023 with caps replaced. Haven't been used much since.
