Good condition Garrard 301 grease bearing with hammertone finish and with a custom brand-new plinth. The 301 functions as it should and has recently had a check over and service by a Garrard 301 / 401 tech. The idler wheel was replaced; idler bearing and motor bearing lubed; main bearing cleaned and regreased; spark suppressor capacitor replaced; switch contacts cleaned.
Cosmetically it’s in very tidy condition with just the one rub mark as shown in the photos. It comes with the original rubber mat, paperwork including alignment tools, factory supplied grease, and Garrard stylus pressure gauge (refer photo).
The plinth was custom made, and computer cut using CAD design drawings. The center section is laminated Birch with glued layers, and the upper and lower sections are MDF with a lacquer finish. The plinth is setup for a SME arm and comes with an SME arm board. However, other arms could be used, and I could arrange for a different arm board for a modest additional cost.
The plinth current has rubber feet fitted and these can be swapped out for something else as there are three threaded inserts. In the photos the deck is not currently bolted to the plinth, but the mounting bolts are included and it will be bolted for shipping.
