Further Information
I'd suspect these might be one of only a few of these in Australia. Purchased new in 1975 in London they have been with my father ever since.
Purchased at the time because Tannoy 15s were not available, and Dad wanted somehting that could cope with pipe organ music.
They might look similar in shape to Bose 901s but are substantially larger.
Woofers x 2 are 8", Dome Mid and Tweeters. 4 x full range "ambience" drivers on the rear panel.
Original tweeters were replaced late 80's with Vifa D25s as one of the originals failed. At the same time the crossovers were recapped with polypropylene caps. As well, l-pads for tweeter and rear drivers were added, along with better speaker connections.
Sound great in a big room, they need space to breathe.
Some slight ageing on the chrome stands. I have more photos as well.
Pick up only and will need two people to get them down from the shelf on which they sit in dad's garage.
Happy for any questions.
