Monitor Audio RXW-12 Subwoofer + 1200W Class D Amplifier (DIY Passive Setup)
Selling a Monitor Audio RXW-12 subwoofer that has been converted to a passive subwoofer. The original built-in amplifier at the back failed, so it was removed and the unit was modified to run with an external power amplifier.
A 1200W Class D subwoofer amplifier included in the sale(solid build, about 10+ kg). I purchased the amplifier from AliExpress. The amplifier works very good with the subwoofer and has no issues driving it. It can also power two subwoofers at the same time if needed.
Condition:
Subwoofer: about 10 years old
Amplifier: around 1 year old
Both working well together with no functional problems
Great option if you already run external amplification or want a powerful passive subwoofer setup.
