This is an excellent solid state Class A fully balanced preamplifier that I purchased direct from Aoshida Audio back in late '24. As far I could find out Musician Audio seem to be a sister / parallel brand to Denafrips and there are striking resemblances to the Hades. Apart from the excellent specs the deciding factor in my purchase was the review by Sandhu on Soundnews youtube channel (see link), and particularly his comments that it sounds more like a tube preamplifier with a great bottom end. He wasn't making it up ! It has a 60 step resistor ladder volume control mechanism and remote.

It is also worth noting that these units operate at unity gain which is rarely an issue given the high output levels from most dacs these days. No dings or scratches that I can see and the original plastic is still on the screen - any marks in the photos are dust or fingerprints. The only reason for the sale is that I've moved onto something different as you tend to do in this hobby.
