Selling my Rega Planar 3 (P3) turntable due to an upgrade. This isn't just a stock unit, but has been enhanced for improved performance.
Upgrades include:
- SRM Tech Silent Base – A major performance boost that isolates the motor from the plinth, significantly reducing vibration and motor noise. This is a well-reviewed upgrade. Retail: $315
- Rega Neo PSU (Mk1) – Delivers improved speed stability, reduced motor noise, and simple push-button speed switching. This power supply is standard on higher-end Rega models like the P6 and P8. Retail: $550
- Motor fitted with brass pulley & dual belts – Further enhances precision and stability.
The turntable alone retails for around $1400 (without cartridge), bringing the total value of this setup to approximately $2265.
