I spent countless hours researching to purchase a top spec surge and filtration without going into a dedicated power regeneration territory, and SurgeX kept coming up as one of the top players in the US market. They had limited stockists here in AUS, but never the less I managed to get one of these and it’s been great. The only ‘drawback’ was that rack mount versions were the only ones delivered here (as far as I could tell) but I don’t have a rack. This means it’s been on display, which to be honest has been bugging me. It’s finally got the better of me so I’m moving it on. Will be perfect if you have a rack (the faceplate has rack mounting points as can be seen in the photo), have this hidden away or aren’t as pedantic as I am about this being a rackmount item, that isn’t rack mounted! This is less than a year old and was purchased direct from the distributor.

It has 6 outlets, a chunky power cord and also accommodates two task lights via the connectors on the front (task lights not supplied, but I’m told these are common / handy in dedicated dark AV rooms with racks).
Like most of my equipment I’ve retained all packaging so this could be sent interstate reasonably trouble free. Buyer to pay for postage on top, and as always pick up preferred.
