Further Information

Hi guys,

I'm selling a pair 2.4M factory-terminated, Taralabs (The Absolute Reference Audio) Caprice 2 high-end cables.

These have been part of my setup for a little while and was purchased here, just a few months ago.

I have a soft spot for Tara, it was my first 'Hi-Fi' speaker cables during Uni so when the chance came to own a pair again, I jumped on it.

And while they don't seem to be as popular as they were back then, Tara still makes high-end cables and and an innovator in the field. An excerpt straight from their site

In 1986 we were first to introduce “Air-Tube Dielectric Technology”
In 1988, we were first to successfully use “Solid Core Conductors” instead of stranded.
In 1990, again we were first to change the shape of a round conductor to “Non-Round” to reduce the effects of skin effect. And in 1998, we were the first and only to introduce the world to a “Vacuum” dielectric.

(Interesting fact - the company started in Sydney before moving to the US)

In my setup, it's the musical conduit between my March Purifi monoblocks and the excellent Magico A3 speakers. I've recently moved things around, and the monoblocks are now sitting essentialy next to the speakers. And while I don't want to replace these (as they seem to match well) they are just too long as you can see in the pics. I need to money to pay for a 1m pair cable that I secured recently.

The condition is excellent as I received it, and have taken great care of them .
