I have had the amps for about 15 years. They were purchased new. Note that they are not the MB-225W as the '-T' model is pure triode. and they use parallel 8x 6550 output tubes.
They are excellent sounding with very transparent soundstage that triode amps are capable of and would equal many much more expensive amps in bass slam and micro-dynamics.
I hate to part with them, but, as I am planning on moving to an apartment in the near future and will not have the space, they would give a new owner great sonic pleasure.
I have not used them regularly for some time, however, I recently reconnected them in my system and they still perform well, albeit, they probably need to be retubed, which I have done a couple of times in the past.
I have the owners manual as well as schematic provided to me by VTL but no power cables..
The amps were modified when new to accomodate a better Slo Blo fuse for the HT B+ supply.
As can be seen from the photos, including those of its innards, they have been well maintained and are in the same condition. I do not have the original boxes they came in, which is one reason why shipping is not a good idea, and they are very heavy and will probably cost quite a bit to ship.
