Electrical Disclaimer Further Information

Selling my Woo Audio WA2 with Premium Vintage Vacuum Tubes. Original Owner. Non smoker and no pets.

Bought from Addicted to Audio.

Comes in original Woo Audio Packaging

Ideal for high impedance hps - eg my HD800 and ZMF high impedance hps, like the Auteur that I used to own. Silky Sooth sound.

I would NOT recommend this tube amp for low impedance headphones as it was never designed for those

This amp is working flawlessly and never missed a beat. Very well looked after - was my first "serious amp" into headfi / audiophile land.

I have tried a wide range of tubes and settled on these premium tubes that (easily) sounded the best to me that I am including with this amp.

(I am also including the stock tubes that came with the amp).

I am not able to test these tubes (and have allowed for that in my pricing) but have included my judgement of their condition below.

There are some measurements on some boxes which were how they were sold to me.

No microphonics unless stated below (some power tubes below)

Included tubes are:

Driver Tubes (all late 1960's):

2 x Valvo Holland PINCHED WAIST E88CC - easily the best, most musical tubes that there are. Sound wise there are in very good /excellent condition - these can easily sell for around $600+ USD per pair on ebay. These are my go-tos.

2 x Telefunken E188CC (the second level, one down from CCA tubes) - very good condition. Great linear sound with good extension. Clean detailed sound.

2 x Siemens CCA - Germany 1966 (bought from Brent Jessee). I would describe these as in good condition. Full rich sound. Fuller than the telefunken with quite similar level of details.

I am also including a pair of 6N3 to ECC88 adapters that you can slo use to further tube role

SO MY LISTED PRICE IS FOR EVERYTHING ABOVE.

NOW......

I am also including for no extra charge some OLD Power tubes - including the best ones in the business - the gec 6as7g.

** please read all details below, including their condition **

I have been very happily using these but I know they are old so happy to throw them in to this offer for no extra charge. These could well last for some years to come, or maybe more.

NOS GEC 6as7g sell at crazy prices, like, over $1000 USD per pair. But this gives you a chance to try them and enjoy them as part of this bonus and see what they are all about and what they bring.

Note that some of these tubes at times can make a slight hum. Sometimes. Quite often not. And when/if they do it is almost always not loud enough to hear the hum when the music is playing.

I am throwing in:

5 x GEC 6as7g - some with some hum at times

One of them does not have a guiding pin but that is not an issue if you line the pins up correctly when inserting the tube into the amp. Easily done.

I love these tubes for their detail and musicality / engagement and extension.

2 x Tung Sol 5998 - these I would describe as in fair condition. These can sometimes "ping" a little though. I do not use them much at all due to my preference for the gec tubes above.

I am also throwing in a bonus pair of rectifier tubes - the rft ez80. These are the standard upgrade that has been popular for many years. I have had no issue with them but also have no idea if they are in fair condition or excellent condition. But they have been working fine.

please see all the photos below. I have tried to capture as much detail as I can in the photos.

But I can only post 10 photos - happy to send you more.

If you have any questions, including tube questions just ask

Thanks
