Overview

DP-570 epitomises Accuphase's approach to high fidelity playback devices, the build quality is exceptional, the technology employed is cutting edge, and the internal components are world class. 

The transport section features a high-rigidity SA-CD/CD drive mounted on a triple layer bottom plate, four butyl “elastic dampers” connect the traverse and disc mechanisms, a five-layer large bridge cover surrounding the traverse mechanism also shields against air-vibration noise. Carved from an aluminum block, the disc tray uses steel bearing shafts to open and close smoothly and quietly.

Accuphase's MDS+ (Multiple Delta Sigma+) conversion principle is managed by ESS Technologies' ES9028PRO DAC chip and features Asahi Kasei Microdevices' AK4118A chip on clocking duties.

Thanks to coaxial, optical and USB-B digital inputs, even those without a large disc collection can connect a streamer and use the DP-570 as a pure DAC.
