Antipodes EX Oladra Server / Streamer

Further Information:  Needing no introduction.  If you're after a server / streamer or both then this is the best I have heard without paying very serious money.  I tried lots of servers and streamers and when I heard a regular EX I knew I'd found a sound that I loved.  Talk on the net of the OLADRA retrospective mod had people raving about what a huge improvement it made (unfortunately at a pretty expensive price along with shipping the unit back to New Zealand etc.).

One of my best friends who heard my original EX picked up an EX OLADRA and the improvement was huge.  I eventually hunted one down (the work was performed at Antipodes factory in New Zealand on 23 August 2021 (Please see photos showing the date of the new power supply OLADRA upgrade).

Antipodes EX units stock are wonderful.  Find a unit with the OLADRA upgrade is hard but the sound is absolutely stunning.  It was a real game changer in my system (using a $50k MSB Premier Dac with Powerbase, Pro ISL etc).  It made the sound much more Analogue and was clearly much better in every possible way.

I have a 4tb internal storage fitted which is not included in the sale (full of music I have collected for many years including master files and burns of my rare original CD's etc). 

Internal storage is recommended for the very best sound but is not needed.  There are two bay's for internal storage and various usb points at the back to connect external storage (along with using Roon and all the usual culprits).  I was mainly using Qobuz with Roon but you can select squeeze light and many other ways of delivering music.

I'm vinyl only these days.  If I was using digital or contemplating going digital this unit would definitely not be for sale.  

The unit presents as new.  I have all packaging (two inner boxes, an outer box and an outer, outer box (Antipodes pack their units very well).  It also comes with all the documentation, cables etc.

It can be used as a Server, a streamer or a Server / Streamer.  I also contains a very basic dac to get you started if you don't have one but if you use the inbuilt dac you will not hear anything like the incredible performance this unit can offer.  Even the manual recommends only using the dac as a interim first step.

These EX Oladra's do not come up for sale very often and mine is as clean a unit as you will find.
