ATC SCM150ASL Classic active loudspeakers in the stunning Burr Magnolia premium finish, with original metal stands. An optional custom black base is also available at no additional cost. I am the original owner and purchased them new from an Australian hi-fi retailer in 2023. The speakers are in excellent condition and have been carefully maintained in a dedicated listening environment.
These speakers transformed my audio journey. The SCM150ASLs gave me a clear understanding of what I valued in music reproduction and provided a stable, revealing reference point from which I could make confident system decisions. Rather than endlessly side-grading, I was able to meaningfully evaluate sources, DACs, network components and cables, ultimately building a system that performed far beyond what I thought possible within a "sensible" budget.
One of the greatest benefits of the active ATC design is that the amplification, crossover integration and speaker cabling questions are already solved. This allowed me to concentrate on optimising the system's front end, knowing that the foundation was exceptional. Most importantly, these speakers delivered a natural, effortless and engaging presentation that allowed me to listen for hours without fatigue—only enjoyment and a deeper connection to the music.
The speakers can be shipped in original crates at the buyer's expense.
