Further Information: One Audio Analogue Puccini Anniversary Integrated Amp. This is an excellent amp, it is clean, it is clear, it is just a little warm where it should be and it has one of the best power supplies ever put in an 80wpc amp. This amp can easily play along side 120 to 150 wat amps and not be shamed in any way. I very much like this amp so if no-one wants to buy it that is fine with me, it will go back onto its shelf until I feel the need to hear it once again.
I used the Puccini to run the "Extreme Bass Test" in my lounge room in order to check the positioning of my speakers (when I changed from one set of speakers to the other and wasn't sure if the same speaker position would work for both). Initially I had run the test with a different amp and found that it did not provide as much bass as I needed for the test, so in went the Puccini. Once I had the speaker position sorted I ran the test again, just for the joy the results brought me. Then, just because sometimes these things need to happen, I ran the test again with a 350wpc MOSFET monster of an amp. It did give me much more bass, but it wasn't as tightly controlled or articulate as it was with the Puccini. This really isn't what the Puccini was designed for guys, it is a very musical amp and was designed as such, it's just that it has such a good power supply it gives very strong and well controlled bass and that is something that makes an impression on the listener.
