Audio GD C8 preamp - with a regenerative PSU

This is not your garden variety of Audio-GD preamps. This one pre-dates more known Kingwa designs and includes some very interesting and not readily available features:

- PSU is a class-A fully regenerative type, providing clean DC into a preamp box. In an extreme purist way, display and all controls (input selector and volume control) are also housed in the PSU box.

- The preamp itself has only voltage regulation and signal path circuitry  for a balanced dual mono design - in every aspect of that word. Volume control regulates the gain of the output stages and therefore does not change impedance of the input or output. The "power button" on the pre-amp front face switches gain from high to low.

- The gain stage design is inspired by the Accuphase A-100. These are user replaceable - Marantz M-7 stages are also included.

- The preamp has been re-capped with Nichicon (FW) and Panasonic (FC) capacitors. I/O signal wiring is silver in teflon.

- A standard Audio-GD aluminium remote control is also included.

NOTE: The PSU runs hot  and requires as much ventilation as possible. An external fan is not necessary if the ambient temperature is bellow 25degC. The PSU is also very heavy - since it houses 5 transformers. I do not have original boxes but I will pack them as good as humanly possible. I am willing to cover postage but due to the weigh and bulkiness I am happy to go halves for WA.
