This was the first serious amp I ever bought, almost 18 years ago now. I remember being wowed by its soundstage the first time I listened to it and it has served me well during the early days of my hifi journey.
For the past 14 years it has seen little use as it wasn't an appropriate match for my Magneplanars but has made occassional appearances with my other equipment and still impresses me after all these years but the time has come to find it a new home.
A couple of things to note:
- The rubber cover that goes over the front right foot has gone missing
- There are a few small marks on the unit as per the photos, commensurate with age
- The amp has no serial number. This is something I only noticed some time after purchasing the unit. I do not know the story behind this but the previous owner was an enthusiast who provided me much detail on work done to the amp during his ownership and gave me no reason to suspect anything untoward but, in the interest of full dislosure, I believe it warrants mention.
These don't come up often so I've priced at a point that I feel offers good value given the amp's condition in the hope of a quick sale.
It's a heavy unit so local pick-up only.
