For sale is my Audio Research Reference 3 preamplifier, presented in excellent condition and complete with its original box and packaging.
The Reference 3 has long been regarded as one of Audio Research’s finest preamplifiers, combining the musicality and dimensionality of valves with exceptional transparency, dynamics and control. It presents music with a wonderfully natural soundstage, outstanding resolution and effortless realism, making it a superb partner for high-end power amplifiers and source components.
This preamplifier has been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free home and has performed flawlessly throughout my ownership.
Importantly, it was professionally retubed approximately 12 months ago, ensuring many years of reliable service ahead and saving the next owner a significant maintenance expense.
