For sale is a near 'perfect' sounding electronic component, the Bakoon AMP-5521 amplifier. The reason you never see these things for sale (RRP $6,990) is that once you hear the clarity and naturalness of Bakoon amplifiers, nothing else suffices. It is 35 w/ch stereo or 97 w/ch mono of the purest watts you will ever hear. With the first few watts operating in Class A using the Exicon mosfets found in Goldmund amplifiers. This unit is in excellent original condition, never modified or repaired.
You will not get a better (purer) amplifier than this one. It is also deathly silent on all horn and high efficiency loudspeakers, the sort of amplifier that you can just leave on all day without concern - unlike tube amplification which requires attention. Modern equivalent of this amplifier made by Enleum sells for $11,000.
