Dynaudio Confidence C5 Speakers.

Further Information: These were Dynaudio's flagship speaker from 2002.These are version 2 which are a bit more efficient than than the first version.They cost $16000 then.Serial numbers 757247 and 757248.They use their best mids and tweeters from that era-the Esotar Tweeter and the Esotar M560D dome mids and  these are regarded as amongst the best drivers ever made.Second hand prices for them reflect this.There is currently a single  Esotar tweeter for sale for US$999 and a pair of the mids for US $1520 a pair.

They use isobarik loaded sealed bass woofers [a second woofer is mounted inside the cabinet behind the front one].Bass is really tight and clean as a result of this arrangement [at the cost of efficiency].If you listen loudly in a big room you might need a fair bit of power but I have found that in a smaller room an 80 watts/8 ohm /150 watts 4 ohms amplifier is adequate.

They are in near mint condition with lovely rosewood veneer.There is one tiny 1mm scratch on the  top front baffle edge which you have to look hard to see.All drivers are in perfect working and cosmetic condition.

It is possible that I can ship them but I would only do so in custom made crates which would add to the cost.They are very heavy.

These are very classy,composed,pure sounding speakers .They impose very little  of themselves on the sound and simply allow you do listen to the music.Please take the time search reviews and owner impressions.They are widely regarded as one of the best sounding speakers ever made.They are especially wonderful on classical music.
