if you want to spin up a decent setup to get instant good refined sound and well matching, this is for you, simplicity but refined sound. My whole English sound system setup is up for your grab , the system sounds amazing for living room or most domestic environments with no to little room treatment requirement. Those pieces of hifi have beautiful timeless look. The system has perfect synergy and very refined sounding, no fatigue that you can listen all day or days long.
Harbeth M30.2xd has much more refined tweeters comparing to older 30.1, gives u ability to listen many types of music from jazz, pop, vocal to classical, just don’t ask them to play Orchestra complex and loud level and you can be happy with them for a long time. Also the designer has magically tuned the speakers to sound amazing in high definition without fussy placement need or room acoustic treatment, IMO, their main market is for English houses which are usually smaller and more compact vs US or somewhere else, seems to make sense in Australia those days when real estate and room size are getting smaller and smaller.
For amplification, I have been in tube world for a while but still highly impressed with Naim electronic that sounds so refined with all latest modern technology such as Built-in streamer dac, highly customised remote control and gusty power that is more satisfying than my previous Tektron 38w 211 single ended design.
The dual relt7xi subwoofers complement the downside of bookshelf to extend the frequency to give better soundstage, more air and feeling more impact with music on low notes. Don’t go larger subs as the more energy the more demanding in space and yes you need dual subs to form perfect stereo imaging, bass is not directional but your brain and ears can tell instrument locations precisely, so you need stereo subs in this case.
