Further Information:
- Likely among the 5 best bookshelf monitors on the market, if you believe in acoustic engineering science (review and measurements here)
- Die-cast aluminum cabinets with only round surfaces to kill diffraction and distortion, and special rubber pads to isolate it from the stand
- Three-way coaxial design. Tweeter, mid and woofers are all concentric, making for the best imaging I have ever heard
- Near perfect directivity, meaning that the sound reflected off your walls, floor and ceiling will not mess up the sound coming to you directly from the speakers
- Perfectly flat measured frequency response from 38Hz (yes, 38 Hz) to well beyond what humans can hear. You will not need a sub for music, unless your room is massive or you are into sub-bass music like me (I used these with a sub, also for sale)
- Near perfect in room response gently sloping as per the Harman curve
- Power is in excess of what is required for hifi purposes. In my room, I have measured no compression or limiter action at all up to 110Db, then I stopped because my ears were bleeding.
- Full specs here.
- Purchased from Sound Easy in Sydney in April 2022, I am first owner.
- Up to 3.5 year's manufacturer warranty LEFT if registered (link here)
- Currently retailing for $5,099 EACH in Australia (link here)
- They come with boxes, papers, receipt but not with the GLM Kit.
- If you require bass below 40Hz for movies or sub-bass music, I am also willing to part from my Arendal 1723 2s, which is also possibly the best measuring sealed sub out there
Selling because I have found myself another very expensive hobby (see pic) and I don't do serious music sessions as often anymore.
Can demo or can post via courier at buyers expense
I could entertain a swap+cash with Kefs LS50 or R3 or Revel m106
