This is something a bit special - Clay made a single Kompakt DAC using the renowned Burr Brown PCM1704K R2R DAC chips and I snapped it up. It was a clear upgrade from the R2R NOS Kompakt with more punch, detail and resolution across the board. I've since upgraded to Clay's newest Kompakt II DAC which is better again, so the time has come to move this on.
The unit is in as-new condition and will come in the original box with power adaptor, purchase receipt and warranty card. It was $2500 new so I'm selling at a loss here. Pickup and audition is welcome, or buyer pays shipping.
