This belonged to a mate who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.
He was a heavy smoker, so some nicotine odour lingers. Mainly is in the plastic coatings of cables, etc. Silicon lugs on bottom have yellowed.
I have been asked by the wiser member of the household to clear out a storage unit and move some gear on.
Just been listening to an Epsen Eriksen Trio CD via the Solo into some Audeze LCD-2s. Sounds great!
I think the Solo has been upgraded to Ultra Linear spec via an upgrade card, though I’m not sure. I attached a photo of its innards to possibly assist in confirming the upgrade has occurred.
