Reluctant sale of these much loved speakers by Gryphon but time for someone else to enjoy. Originally purchased ex-demo from audioconnection as a replacement to the Cantatas (which I regretted selling) this pair has only been used judiciously for special listening sessions, where it never fails to impress. It has a sweet top end courtesy of its beautiful ribbon tweeters and can be fine tuned to your listening room by adjusting the resistors which are fitted, either a mild roll-off (-0.5 dB), neutral response (0 dB) or mild boost (+0.5 dB). Bass performance is tight and more than adequate for a medium sized room. It comes with its own dedicated stands from Gryphon which have been refurbished. I have original boxes for both speakers and stands - there are four in all so bear in mind for shipping if required.
As a postscript comment, I've previously done a side-by-side comparison with the new Mojo S and, trust me, there's little to tell them apart aside from the gratuitous transformer-style attachments that somewhat spoil the simple, classical design of the original. Plus the S would set you back five-times more than the cost of my humble pair. Audioconnection recently had a second-hand pair for sale listed at 10k but these are in far better condition.
