Tried this well regarded boutique preamp to see if it would compete with gear 4 times the price and over. It is excellent but not as good DUH!
I can confidently say you will not get better sound quality at this price: tends to warm rather than clinical, if you have an already too warm system I wouldn't recommend it, if you find yours a bit harsh this is ideal.
