Up for grabs here is a pair of Harbeth 40.2 Anniversary Edition (Walnut veneer) speakers with their matching Ton Trager stands.
Coming from the collection of a very fastidious 86 yr. old collector whose circumstances have dictated that some of his much loved gear find suitable and appreciative new custodians.
These speakers are beautiful and present as new! Story goes that when the owner enquired with the Aust. distributor about the 40th Anniversary models he was that they were no longer being made by Harbeth. But with a little bit of a backstory and some extra money (of course) Harbeth provided. So, it's very likely that these are the very last pair of 40th anniversary model 40.2's made.
They have only ever been powered by EAR tube & Gryphon Class A electronics, wouldn't have even seen 100 hours use and volume never exceeding 78dB on average. A very babied and cherished possession. Now yours to own.
