Further information: Hegel H190 in excellent condition. I have had this amplifier for about eighteen months, I am the second owner.

This amp replaced my Vitus Audio RI-100 and in some areas such as imaging and presentation of detail I think it matched if not exceeded the VA. The VA was gruntier and had a seductive smoothness. However I actually prefer the Hegel presentation and I want more of that, which is why I am upgrading to the next model up in the Hegel line.

I find this amp to be very neutral in its presentation, tons of detail, good control of the lower frequencies and it provides sufficient power to get my Magneplanar 1.7i’s singing.

RRP at the moment is $5995 so this is a pretty good saving.

I have the original packaging. Includes remote and power cord
