A great way to step into the world of horn speakers, with the hard work and development already done.
Beautifully built with high quality components.
Built by a Melbourne local who has been working with horn speakers for many years.
He also built the crossover, carefully tuned for this speaker (takes experience to do well).
Crossover components are high quality, Jupiter, Audyn etc.

Mid Compression drivers Altec 802D
Mid Horns Altec 511-B
Low frequency 12” Woofers Altec 414a
L-pad, attenuation adjustment, for mid and tweeter to suit room acoustic and listening preference.
Low frequency cabinet is 1” Birch Ply (no MDF) Petite Onken Design
The parts are all in excellent original condition and fairly difficult to find, especially in Australia.
It would be time consuming and costly to find/ship all these parts & materials.
It’s a very efficient speaker, my SET 2A3 amp has no trouble driving them.
I find them immersive, musical & non fatiguing.
I enjoy that you can get involved with the speaker, make changes / adjustments / upgrades as you feel like it.
Also nice to be able to use low powered amplifiers. Can Bi-Amp.
