Up for sale is a matched pair of genuine JBL Professional 4732-M/HF ScreenArray mid/high horn assemblies pulled from Roxy Previewing Theatre, circa 2002.
Suit rather special individual who "knows" what they are looking at.
This specific pair is completely plug-and-play. They feature custom internal genuine JBL progressive passive crossover network architecture. The horn arrays run with a standard 2-channel amplifier, 1 watt is plenty for domestic use (not joking suit valve amplification)
Advanced Progressive Acoustic Array Architecture (Main Pair):
Instead of running all four 6.5-inch midrange cone drivers as a single identical block, the internal passive networks utilize a sophisticated multi-band progressive layout:
150Hz Protective Cutoff: An internal high-pass filter blocks low sub-bass frequencies, completely protecting the midrange cones from over-excursion and distortion.
Tapered Mid-Array: The network actively splits the four 6.5-inch drivers into two distinct operational bands (a lower-mid pair and an upper-mid pair). This progressive design completely eliminates comb filtering (phase cancellation), minimizes midrange distortion, and ensures seamless tracking.
The Smooth JBL 2425HS Upgrade: The system seamlessly hands off the upper frequencies to the legendary JBL 2425HS 1-inch pure titanium compression drivers, the 2425HS features a classic diamond-surround diaphragm and edgewound aluminium voice coil. It sounds significantly smoother, warmer, and less fatiguing—making it perfect for domestic home audio environments.

Condition
Function: Tested extensively and 100% operational. Drivers are all healthy with zero voice coil rub or degradation.
Cosmetics: These are raw commercial utility cabinets designed to sit behind a theater screen. Expect minor superficial scuffs. There are no structural issues cracks or corners broken off. Surprising good original paintwork with a little touching up here and there, tidy, looked after, see photos
🎁 BONUS INCLUSION
Included in this sale is an additional spare 4732-M/HF Optimized Aperture waveguide/acoustic lens assembly and skeleton frame. This spare unit has been completely stripped of its original drivers, internal crossover, and 6" driver enclosure.
DIY Center Channel:
It easily accepts standard 6.5" pro-audio midrange drivers (like Eminence or FaitalPRO) and a bolt-on compression driver of your choice to run active via a miniDSP or an active processor channel.
Wheeled dollies, DIY and painted up, a must for rolling them around, general handling
Cover Socks, made from acoustically transparent stretchy cloth, have a couple of holes, but reasonable condition
Travel covers, durable custom fit transport covers with soft mesh fronts
Speaker cables w bullet connectors
Slowly moving house and these all have to sell unfortunately however I've had my fun 8 years with them, loved them and kept then in 100% operational condition. There are few systems in the World that would best these all BS aside.
