I bought this recently off another Stereonetter to see if I could use it to get XLR out of my preamp then convert it into RCA for my amp'. Sounds about the same as RCA direct so no need to keep it.
Converts 4 dB balanced signals to -10 dB unbalanced (XLR to RCA) and as it uses Jensen transformers. it eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops
It's a passive unit with a very flat frequency response curve.
High input impedance and low output impedance with very low distortion.
