Electrical Disclaimer Description
Selling my JVC DLA-X9500 projector package complete WITH 133" 2.37:1 acoustically transparent screen AND StrongXL ceiling mount, in full operational condition.
Recently upgraded to a newer JVC and screen.
Comes with genuine JVC bulb in it with ~1450hrs use and two used spares (spares have ~2,000hrs+ on them)
For those who know these, they were amongst the best of the former chassis and lamp generation nicknamed "contrast kings" and this model sports a native 150,000:1 ratio and up to 1,500,000:1 dynamic with 2,000 lumens via a 265W bulb.
A bit of AI + my lowdown:
* Resolution & e-Shift: Uses e-shift4 technology to display a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) image via three native 1080p D-ILA devices.
* Contrast & Brightness: 2,000 ANSI lumens powered by a 265W NSH lamp. Features a highly regarded 150,000:1 native contrast ratio (1,500,000:1 dynamic), delivering the deep black levels this specific lamp generation is famous for.
* Color Reproduction: Features JVC’s Real Colour Imaging Technology with a dedicated internal cinema filter covering the full DCI-P3 color space (BT.2020 compatible)
* ISF c3 Certified: Includes Imaging Science Foundation certification. Features advanced calibration controls, allowing professional calibrators to precisely tune and lock in dedicated picture modes tailored to your specific room environment.
* Full HD 3D Support: Fully 3D-ready, supporting Frame Packing, Side-by-Side, and Top-and-Bottom formats. Uses RF (radio frequency) transmission to sync with compatible 3D glasses for stable, crosstalk-free viewing.
* HDR & SDR Support: Full compatibility with SDR, HDR10, and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). The projector automatically detects and switches to an optimized HDR picture mode when an HDR10 signal is received.
* Inputs & Processing: Dual 18Gbps HDMI 2.0a inputs with HDCP 2.2, supporting full-spec 4K60p 4:4:4 video signals. Includes an upgraded Multiple Pixel Control (MPC) image processor and a Low Latency Mode for gaming.
Mechanics & Bulb History:
* Operational Mechanics: The dynamic iris, motorised lens shift (with lens memory), HDR to SDR profile engagement all 100% working.
Motorised lens cover still works too.
* These units also support masking, which can be turned on or off e.g. for use in a ratio-shifting movie for Constant Image Height via cropping.
* Anamorphic lens capability.
* Had this for years without failures. It has just worked.
* Includes remote, all working including backlight.
* Bulb History: Exclusively run on genuine JVC lamps. The current bulb has ~1,450 hours clocked. Includes two older genuine JVC spare bulbs (~2,000 hours on each) to use as functional backups.
Price is inclusive of:
* Screen: 133" Cinemascope (2.37:1 ratio) acoustically transparent woven projection screen, designed for speaker placement directly behind the fabric and that true cinema feel via lens memory.
Rough gain approx 1.0-1.2.
Brand is unknown, I bought this from another user years ago.
Total outer frame dimensions are 3312mm L x 1522mm H. The flocked black frame is 100mm all round.
It is a tension fixed fabric with springs on the rear.
There are 4 pre-drilled fixing points on the top of the screen frame where hinges can be used to fix to a beam or wall.
* Mount: StrongXL heavy-duty projector mount in black. RRPs for $400-$590 alone.
## Does not include any HDMI cable or 3D emitter required for 3D. These are still available from JVC and used in the current NZ line.
Location: Oxley, QLD 4075.
Pickup only due to the size of the screen. Please consider your method to transport; I am selling screen assembled.
