Up for sale (quite regrettably, i might add) is this beautiful example of a Vintage Kenwood KA-8100 DC Amplifier.

Built between 1977 and 1979, this unit is in immaculate condition and is an absolute stunner!

Viewed by many as the most superior model that Kenwood brought out at the time (often ranked higher than the KA-9100, even), with its massive output and dual power transformers.

The thing is a BEAST!!

This model Kenwood is particularly sought after and INCREDIBLY hard to find, especially in this condition. I doubt you will find one like this again.

Rated 75w per channel @ 8ohms, and a whopping 90w @ 4ohms, this is sure to drive even the hungriest of speakers with ease.

This amplifier has complete channel separation, with independent power supplies, plus a separate preamplifier power supply, which delivers precise stereo imaging down to the lowest of frequencies. Well ahead of its time, with some very impressive specs & features…

• 0.03% Total harmonic distortion

• Signal to noise ratio - 115dB (short circuited)

• Damping factor - 50 @ 8ohms

• 2 x Phono Inputs

• Tuner / AUX / Tape Inputs

• Gain control +10dB / 0dB / -10dB

• Subsonic Filter

• Low / High Pass Filter

I guarantee that anyone who views this will be blown away, and i don’t imagine it will last too long. Unfortunately i need the extra money to put towards a house deposit, so my loss is your gain.

Genuine enquiries only please.
