The smaller of my horn speakers these klipsch have been very enjoyable but need to be moved out as they live in the common area, penned in for their own safety. They deserve better!
The forte are highly versatile in terms of room placement for a large speaker. It is possible to have them virtually hard up against the front wall if required. Horns on the mid and high provide great coverage and actually sound incredibly smooth. Horn shout? Not here. Plus bass is fantastically deep. In fact deeper and greater output than I get with my larger speakers.
Overall condition is pretty good with the exception of one passive radiator having been repaired. This doesn't seem to impact the sound but replacement using current model forte radiators is possible. These are available new online or possibly through the local agent. They aren't very expensive. One binding post plastic ring is missing but I use bananas. One klipsch logo is missing. Pricing has considered these deficiencies I believe but you tell me!
They are connected up so locals interested can check them out in noranda. Photos make them look lighter than they are. Beautiful walnut veneer I've tried to better capture in one of the photos. If anyone is looking for a mid century speaker which can run on a watt here it is.
