Krell FPB200 Power Amplifier

Hi All,

I am letting this Krell FPB200 go as it is sitting unused after converting my room from stereo to surround and not really needing a power amp of this calibre any more . nor does my new gear have balanced connections which are a must for using this amp to its full potential.
While the amp also has single ended RCA inputs and I'm including some XLR shorting plugs which are required when not using a balanced connection, the sound is not going to be as good as running the amp fully balanced from a proper balanced source or at least with a set of high quality balancing transformers.

It is in reasonably clean original condition, a couple of small nicks in the aluminium from more than 2 decades in a family members home raising kids.
I obtained it from them in 2019 and put it to very good use for a few years before changing my room into a surround and not being able to fully utilise the amp.

The amp has been removed from the system and will be moved to my warehouse for easier pickup as my house has a steep driveway that's a bit awkward with heavy things like this. Weight is a fairly solid 50kg so it's moveable but very difficult to ship, I would prefer a local pickup.

Specs are in the manual here but the gist of it is, 200w into 8ohm, 400w into 4, 800w into 2.
Bucketloads of current, decently high peak to peak voltage, Class A under load but dials back at idle for a more reasonable idle current, like class AB in reverse.

Uses a 15A power input however peak current is safe for 10A circuits at 1700w as long as there isn't too much else on the breaker.
