This is the new Dac1 Reference. Not the older Special Edition
Excellent sounding NOS dac but I have the polar opposite issue with the Lab12 dac than the Pre. This doesn't have enough gain in my system, I need a dac that outputs at least 4v to get any sort of volume cranking. It's a real shame as this dac has a lot of potential.
As with the preamp this essentially brand new with factory box etc.
