Lenco / Goldring G99 Turntable with custom heavy duty plinth

For sale is a Lenco / Goldring G99 idler drive turntable fitted into a new custom design and build plinth.  *Please note this sale does not include a tonearm.

The G99 is in original working condition.

The skeletal plinth weighs 16kg and measures 470(W) x 485(D) x 117(H). It is constructed with 3 x layers of 18mm plywood, 2 x layers of 18mm MDF, a single layer of 14mm Corian, laminated top and bottom and wrapped with solid 20mm jarrah fascia.  The plinth is very solid and rigid, and supplied with two blank, double laminated arm boards. It is fitted with an IEC and 4 x M6 metal inserts to allow a choice in feet or spikes. 

This unit was previously listed for sale with a SME3009 tonearm but had several queries without a tonearm - so here it is, completely unarmed!!  

I may consider separating the G99 and plinth if I have buyers for both. 

For anybody who builds stuff (particularly by hand and not CMC) will understand the level of work involved in the plinth construction.
