Linaum 2 way pro lx5 SPEAKERS

You are looking at a pair of the genexxa pro lx5 speakers that were sold by tandy 

the original speaker was a corian box sporting a silk version of the ribbon dipole tweeter, it was a crazy design, Tandy saw the genius in this and bought the rights to produce them, they made them more affordable by using a die cast box and a different material for the ribbon, but the mad quality was still there!

the problem was that the cheap 5 inch driver was ok for a few years, but it soon rotted out! This pair have had a much higher grade driver fitted to them with rubber surrounds, so good for many years.

the boxes have been dampened with sound deadening material and a tin foil bypass cap fitted, these are easy to drive and can’t be beat as a near field monitor for say a computer system,the dipole effect is very satisfying 

the music room had a stereo 20 and a pair of these in the workshop for ever!

I have modified many a component listening to a pair of these
