I bought this amplifier about a year ago from the authorised seller here in Melbourne. The retail price was $1100.You can only buy it now from overseas where it costs much more. It uses el84 and 12ax7 valves so tube rolling is an endless possibility. The el84 is my preferred valve primarily for sound and also price of replacement and reliability. You need a speaker that is above 90 dB sensitive to get satisfying levels.Line magnetic builds the same amplifier for the Japanese market as Triode corporation Ruby.It is also a good headphone amplifier.The retailer adverised it as a headphone amplifier with capability to also drive speakers I used it mainly as a speakers amplifier.Also ideal as desktop amplifier. Excuse the dust in the pictures,it presents like new.
