I am the original owner of these sequentially serial numbered Vista electrostatics.
They have been lightly used throughout their life, used only for serious listening.
Always covered when not in use - vacuumed regularly. Original feet. They're from a dedicated listening room:
* smoke free
* air conditioned / dehumidified
* pet free
* child free
The woofers have been upgraded with new aluminium drivers, however you can also have the original drivers if you wish. (hole was roughly made larger to accommodate larger and more rigid basket, however originals can be replaced).
REPLACEMENT PANELS: Given how they've been treated, used and stored - the panels are good. However, they also come with brand-new, sealed, unopened replacement panels. These have always been stored upright in the core of the house where temperature and humidity is most stable.
Also, when they were new, a small wrinkle was noticed in the panels. This did not affect sound, however the panels currently on them are also replacements. Also included is the original panels, which saw about 3 months of use only.
Happy to open the sealed panels under contract to buy to confirm there is no degradation.
