Purchased only 1 month ago here in Melbourne…I played 1 LP to confirm its operation, which was perfect, and then stored, ready for a planned turntable project for our son, which he’s decided not to proceed with due to other commitments.
All in pristine condition, this package would suit someone looking to buy new at a substantial saving.
The included headshell is a Technics headshell, Model SFPCC3100K, as new with the MP-500 fully installed and aligned precisely at Technics specified 52mm overhang, ready for use…or of course, can be adjusted and aligned to suit installation requirements, or removed completely from the included headshell and installed to any headshell/tonearm you wish.

Nagaoka AM-801/2 Stylus Cleaner & Brush
Overview
The Nagaoka AM-801/2 fluid is a formulated solution specially design for cleaning record needles of turntable cartridges. When applied with the included soft brush, gently cleans the needle and should last years with average use.
For best care of your stylus and records, the best result can be achieved by keeping the records themselves as clean as possible prior to the needle ever touching the record groove. LP Records should be kept clean enough so that the stylus tip does not end up as a 'secondary' cleaning tool by scraping grim out from within the groove itself as it plays.
Due to air pollutant from external influences and internal domestic influences like kitchen, smoking and finger prints, a sticky film can develop on your records over time. Those record deposits can forms a sticky film around the needle tip, which in turn captures other dirt and dust on your LP record.
These deposits not only affect the sound quality, but can even damage your favourite records. The special formula of the Nagaoka AM-801/2 stylus cleaner efficiently dissolves and removes all sticky substances trapped on the needle.
