This unit has been in storage for approximately 20 years. It was fully working in every respect before it went into storage.
Switching on for the first time yesterday I was very happy to see the VU meters working and also fast forward, rewind and play motors all working.
Probably due to perished rubber and dust, the playback mode works but speed and azimuth are both out of kilter, however the VU meters respond to the playback and signal is outputting from both channels.
I need to get this moving because I don’t want to put it in storage for another 20 years!!
