Having already Oppo BDP-105D, I bought this player only to watch some 4k content on my newly acquired 4k TV.
It indeed is a very thrilling AV experience.
Now that the opportunity arose to acquire BDP-205, the player count can be reduced and connections simplified and hence both 203 and 105D are offered for sale.
This unit is in a very good condition and works flawlessly.
Can easily be JailBroken and should this service be required, please let me know.
It would allow playing all DVD and Blue-Ray region discs and also .ISO files (ripped from SACDs or Blue-Rays) from any USB stick or external HDD attached.
It plays:
CDs
CD-Rs
SACDs
DVD-Audio discs
Blue-Rays
No problem with reading any of these discs, including purposely faulty test CDs with Interruption in Data Layer of 0.9mm (Red Book Standard).
It up-samples content to 4k and even old 640x480 video camera content looks remarkably good on a 75" TV.
