For sale is one of my two Ortofon MC Jubilee cartridges. This one was purchased directly from Ortofon in 2021 through their "Treasure Trove" as having been re-built to as-new condition. Since then, after putting a few hundred hours on it, I recently had it re-tipped by Allclear Audio with a micro-ridge stylus. Following the re-tip the cartridge has only been tested for a few hours but otherwise has not been used. It therefore has the remaining life of a new cartridge.
The MC Jubilee remains one of my all-time favourite cartridges. It is particularly well suited to Rega arms and turntables - although it sounds great on every deck I have tried it with. As I don't need two of them, I have decided to sell this one.
These cartridges continue to be held in high regard, and are now quite rare, particularly in this condition, having been recently been refurbished by Ortofon and re-tipped by Allclear.
The cartridge comes with the Ortofon packaging but, as is usual for Treasure Trove cartridges, there is no mounting hardware or documentation.
Pick up is available, or I am happy to post at the buyer's cost and risk.
