Early model Ortofon SPU GT Conical.
Excellent condition with Conical stylus tip and suspension in excellent condition (excellent tracker).
Very clean example. Wonderful SPU sound big, bold and super dynamic with fantastic tone. They are legendary and highly collectible for a reason.
Local pickup preferred but happy to ship.
Comes in it's original box.
The built in transformer is superb. A great way to hear what an SPU can do as they need a stepup ideally of around 40 times (which the built in transformer has).
This cartridge is in excellent original condition and had been kept by a radio tech as part of his collection for many decades (he also had an original steel first model 3012 SME (he had great taste).
