Perreaux SM3 Class A Preamplifier

One of the best preamplifiers that I have heard at a sub 5k price-range. Absolutely no noise, phono-stage is hands down the best I have ever heard to date.

This vintage Class-A design is absolutely stunning, transparent, detailed with full bodied bass. A large and detailed soundstage, with fantastic instrument separation. 

Extremely high quality audiophile unit that presents in all original incredible condition. 

Unusually it is the only preamplifier that I have heard with the ability to make speakers completely disappear in a room which always surprised me. Lots and lots of gain, huge tordiol transformer and mica caps throughout,  never really go above 20% vol. 

Listening to Class A designs makes you never want to go back, the realism and the warmth is instantly apparent. I like to pair it with my vintage Yamaha CA-2010, using it as my main which creates an experience that you cannot match at this level.
