Disappointing story with this one.
Purchased for $30 off eBay a long time ago and has been solid except for a draw issue the last few years.
Tried boiling the belt (didn't work) and purchased new belt and wheel off eBay - didn't fit despite description.
So I tried putting a twist in the belt and the draw worked well. However now the draw opens on power on (closes fine with draw button) BUT pop a disc in and hit play and the draw opens again ?
I reckon it sounds great for its feather weight.
CDM-4/19 mechanism, TDA1543 DAC.
Part of me wants to get it fixed but I'm more into hassle free these days.
Don't make me put in landfill. Deserves more.
