RAAL 70-10D AM (Amorphous Core-Matched Pair) Ribbon Tweeters

For sale one matched pair of RAAL 70-10D AM ribbon tweeters (two sets available, this sale is for one matched set only). Bought them with the intention of using them for surround sound speakers, but they are massive overkill for surround sound speakers and deserve to be in someone's main speakers. I am now looking to build some height speakers as well, and another four tweeters are going to be well in excess of $3,000 landed in Australia.

Tweeters have never been used, or even tested. Would suit someone looking to buy new at a heavily discounted price. Tweeters are hand made in Serbia and have already been shipped from the U.S. so they are currently located in Queensland. These tweeters are heavier than they look, so the most expensive part of the freight from the U.S has already been paid by me, and would only require local shipping or pick up.

About the tweeters: I have been using a set of RAAL 140-15 AM Dipoles for about the last 12 years, and anyone who has ever heard RAAL ribbon tweeters will understand the attraction to their incredibly detailed and natural sound. This is a somewhat reluctant sale, and I am not selling because they are an inferior quality tweeter, they are only being offered for sale so I can downgrade to buy additional tweeter and save myself from being divorced.

If for any reason spare parts are required i.e. foam pads, driver foil, these are available from different popular audio websites, so this protects your investment.

I also have some round face plates I bought at the same time for $25 each, but you would more than likely need to replace the elements to do it (seen a video it's not hard). So I am not including those in this sale.
