Further Information
When I first added subs to my 3-way active Maggies, I used an analogue in /analogue out miniDSP unit (the 10x10HD). Consequently - as I didn't want to use the digital volume control in the 10x10HD - I needed to find an 8-channel, analogue volume control.
I found a guy in the Netherlands, Jos van Eijndhoven ... who had developed the 'Relaixed' unit - a digitally controlled, 4-channel, analogue volume control. Two boards can be daisy-chained, for 8 channels.
The boards come as a kit - and use a combination of surface-mount and thru-hole parts; Jos provides the boards with the surface-mount components already soldered.
So I bought 2 boards from him and put them inside a Modushop case.
Note: volume can be remotely controlled - plus, there is a volume knob. I use a 'Harmony 650' (not supplied).
