Absolute fantastic set of speakers for the price, can easily compete with the big names. This is the second pair of Richters I have owned along the journey. Upgraded drivers and tweeter for the special edition with an amazing high gloss finish( nicer than my rel)
I originally had a pair of Dynaudio sp40s that didn’t work well in my room so gave the Richters a go as i had owned a pair many yeas ago and preferred their sound to the Dyns. Great bass, smooth mids and the new tweeter is very nice, transparent but not sharp or bright at higher volumes like some "high end" speakers tend to do.
I am now moving my system to a smaller but separate room that I can have to myself away from the kids and not in a shared space. I am now looking at a bookshelf/stand mount option.
